About Richard Moore, Barefoot RMT
I offer registered Massage Therapy to help clients get their body into an ideal state of health. By balancing how the body works through Massage Therapy techniques, the body can realign and begin the process of healing itself and regenerating tissues. Our bodies have built-in healing mechanisms which allow them to heal from almost any disease or illness; we just need the right conditions to allow it to happen.
At the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy, I studied biomechanics and treatment techniques in muscle rehabilitation for three years. After successfully completing the College of Massage Therapists of BC Board Exams*, I’m qualified to treat athletes as well as individuals suffering from injuries, motor vehicle crashes and other physiological conditions.
Helping You Reach Optimal Health Through Massage
I’m trained to help minimize pain and discomfort from scar tissue which builds up in our bodies after injury or surgery. My passion is helping my clients feel better and get back to a state of optimal health so they can get on with their lives. Massage Therapy services are a solution to better health, not a crutch. One of my greatest pleasures is helping people feel better naturally.
Actively Seeking a Healthy Lifestyle
When not in the office, I’m often training for an ironman competition, a marathon or practising at the archery range. I’m a family man and enjoy helping my wife raise our young family. My choice in footwear is often a topic of conversation as I run, work and do all my everyday activities wearing barefoot or minimalist footwear. Healthy feet are a key to good health!
